This lid was purchased for use on a stainless steel pot that came with a tempered glass lid that can’t be used in an oven. We also use it on a cast iron frying pan on the stove top. The off-centre design looks odd, but it is very practical because it encourages one to tilt the lid away from oneself when lifting it. This means that any escaping steam is deflected away so as not to scald you. The lid fits snugly on both the pot and the frying pan. The quality is excellent, as one would expect from the price and the brand.
