The Instant Pot tempered glass lid with steam vent and stainless steel rim and handle is designed for use with the Instant Pot Multi-Use Programmable Pressure Cooker. Ideal for when your cooker goes into the “Keep-Warm” mode, when using the “Sauté” and “Slow Cook” programs. It may also be used in the oven with the inner cooking pot up to 428F (220C). The steam release vent reduces condensation on the underside of the lid. This attractive lid makes it ideal for serving.

I often use these lids when I use the InstantPot in saute mode (to prevent sputter and also to keep the heat in to cook faster). They fit perfectly and have a useful steam hole to prevent pressure from building in too much. I also use them after a pressure cook, for example after serving a meal but before putting away the extras in the fridge for storage. It keeps the food warm, prevents dust and insects from contaminating the food, and is an all around great quality product.

This 8qt slow cooker vented glass lid fits perfect on my insta pot pressure cooker. Amazon is the only supplier who who carries this item. Since the insta pot parent company has filed for bankruptcy stores like Canadian Tire no longer carry accessories. Purchased extra seals as well. Price is quite reasonable too.

I’m trying to use my Instant Pot Mini more often, and wanted to try out the slow cooker function. This lid makes that much more likely. It fits well on top of the stainless steel insert, and allows you to easily see what’s happening to your dish as it cooks. I tested the temperature with water beforehand, and on the Normal (Low) setting, it gets to a safe temperature quickly and stays there. More importantly, it achieves that temperature far more quickly than my old Crock-Pot! I used the Mini and this lid successfully a couple of times last week for new-to-me appetizer recipes. Next up: vegetable beef soup.

Good fit. Well made. Reduced one star because if cold water gets on the hot lid, I could hear cracking sound(glass is NOT cracked). None of my other glass lids does this.
